Childbirth Education
3 Hours with a registered nurse practicing in Labor and Delivery
$165 per Couple
A must-have for all new parents! In this live Zoom led class, you will be educated on topics ranging from end of pregnancy through the immediate postpartum period. Our board certified labor and delivery nurses can answer all your questions related to your hospital stay and COVID 19 preparation. Some of the themes we discuss include preparation and expectation for a hospital birth; signs of labor; stages of labor; pain medication options (including epidurals) as well as suggestions for things to do in each stage of labor to cope with contractions; possible interventions in labor including inductions, monitoring and cesarean sections. Class concludes with postpartum concerns and resources to help when the baby arrives.

INFANT CPR & CHOKING (FRIENDS AND FAMILY)
75 MINUTES with a registered nurse
$70 PER PERSON
This 75 minute class provides an overview of the American Heart Association infant and child CPR and choking technique. Class includes a course on important first aid knowledge and skills. This class is perfect for families with children of any age, nannies, au pairs, or anyone wanting to brush up their CPR skills.
Baby Care and Infant CPR
3 Hours with an expert registered nurse or nurse practitioner in Pediatrics
$175 per Couple
The most comprehensive new parent class is perfect for those expecting their first child as well as for grandparents, nannies, or others who will be involved in the care of your infant. In this live class, you will be educated on the care of a normal newborn, as well as learn what is expected in those first few weeks of life. Topics discussed include feeding, sleeping, diapering, swaddling, and bathing with demonstrations. The first half of the class is seated, followed by a demonstration and practice of the learned techniques and ending with American Heart Association Friends and Family CPR and choking lessons.
Breastfeeding
2 Hours with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant
$95 per Couple
A class for any mom or partner interested in learning more about breastfeeding. Topics discussed include the importance of supply and demand as well as the physiology of milk production; how to breastfeed and common positions for breastfeeding; proper latch; how to be sure baby is getting enough milk; common issues in breastfeeding and how to overcome them; and returning to work and pumping. This class is taught by Vanessa, CLC via Zoom.
Baby Boot camp
5.5 hours held on Saturdays 9:30-3 pm. Two instructors, Infant CPR video included for self study.

This comprehensive in person class combines the two topics parents are most excited to learn. In just one day, you will learn both childbirth education and baby care with infant CPR. Childbirth education includes preparation and expectation for a hospital birth; signs of labor; stages of labor; pain medication options (including epidurals) as well as suggestions for things to do in each stage of labor to cope with contractions; possible interventions in labor including inductions, monitoring and cesarean sections. After your lunch break, we will delve into our popular Baby Care and CPR skills class. You will be educated on the care of a normal newborn, as well as learn what is expected in those first few weeks of life. Topics discussed include feeding, sleeping, diapering, swaddling and bathing with demonstrations. Learning is lecture style with PowerPoint, followed by demonstration of the learned techniques and ending with American Heart Association Friends and Family infant CPR and choking lessons.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable or decide not to attend your class for any reason, there are a few things you need to know. If you cancel within 7 days of your class date you will receive a 50% refund. However, if you cancel more than 7 days before the scheduled class, you will receive a full refund. Finally, if you opt to reschedule your class, there is a rescheduling fee of $50. There is a $100 rescheduling fee for same-day cancellations.
